Troubleshoot Notices of a Declined Payment

Rate this guide

If you have an outstanding balance on your account due to declined payments, here are a few things you can try:

  1. Make sure that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover your overdue balance.
  2. Check that your credit card hasn’t expired. If it has, update the expiration date on Ning.com.
  3. Contact your credit card company or PayPal directly to see why payments are being declined to Ning.
  4. Add a new payment method and supply a different credit card or PayPal account on Ning.com.
  5. Try entering your credit card information into a PayPal account and then switching your payment method to PayPal at Ning.com. Oftentimes your credit card or debit card can successfully be charged this way.
If payment still can’t be processed successfully, feel free to contact us by:
  • Submitting a billing ticket any time from the “Support” link in your network’s dashboard or directly through the Help Center
  • Calling us at 1-855-233-6436 (USA/Canada Toll Free) or 0-808-189-2035 (UK Toll Free)

Please include in your ticket or phone call as much detail as you can, including information from the notices Ning has sent you and a record of the charge attempts that you received from your credit card company or PayPal. We will be happy to check your billing account for information on the errors we are getting from your bank or credit card provider when making charge attempts.
