Troubleshoot the Add by Phone Feature

If you’re running into an issue uploading photos or videos to your Ning Network via your mobile device, it may be due to one of these issues:

The upload is slow

Try waiting awhile longer for the photo or video to show up on your network.  It can sometimes take up to an hour for photos or videos to fully upload when being emailed in by phone.

There is an issue with the photo or video itself

If you’ve waited an hour and the photo or video still isn’t showing up, try resending it.  If it continues to not show up on the network, there may be an issue with the photo or video itself.

There is no MX record set up and the network is domain mapped

If your network is domain mapped, you will need to set up a MX record in order to use the Add by Phone feature.  You can learn how to set this up here.
