If at any time you decide a member of your Ning Network might not be the right fit, you can suspend them. Suspending a member will give you the option to remove all of the content* they’ve added to your Ning Network. It also prevents them from joining your network again with that account.
To suspend a member from your Ning Network, go to their My Page and locate the “Admin Options” box under their Profile Photo. Click the “Suspend Member” link; or “Suspend for Spam” to automatically notify us, add “Spam” as the note, and remove their content.
You can also suspend them by going to the My Network tab and clicking on “Management” under Members. Check the box next to the member you’d like to suspend and, in the “Select An Action” drop-down menu, click “Suspend for Spam” or “Suspend from Network.” Once you have suspended your member, you will be given the option to delete their content. If you do not choose to delete the suspended member’s content, be aware that they can choose to delete their own content at any time. A member suspended for spam will automatically have their content deleted.
*Please note that certain categories of content they’ve posted, such as groups they’ve created or discussions they’ve started, will not be automatically deleted during this process. That’s because other members may still be using those groups and discussions. You can delete the remaining content (groups & discussions) at any time.
