To remove the “Created by” text from the footer of your Ning Network, go to your My Network tab and click on “Language Editor” under the Settings section. Click on the “Edit” button next to the language you are currently using on your network. In the Original Text search field, enter the following:
Created by %1$s.
This will bring up “Created by [you].” text that currently appears in your network’s footer. The %1$s. corresponds to what you as the Network Creator have listed as your full name in your profile settings. If you want this to show up as something other than your name, replace %1$s with any text you’d like to display in its place.
If you want to remove that “Created by [you].” line from the footer, leaving only “© 2011”, erase the entire line and enter in the following:
Be sure to save your changes!
