Although your Ning Network can only have one default language, there are several ways to create a multilingual environment for your members.
Use your groups as language hubs
It’s possible to set up groups on your network to a different language than the default language. You’ll need to enable the Language Settings for Groups Beta feature by going to the My Network tab and clicking on Ning Labs. Here you can enable Language Settings for Groups.
Once enabled, head over to a group you’ve created to edit the language settings. Click on the “Options” button and select the “Edit Group” link.
You should now see the option to change your group’s language. Remember to save your changes!
Add a translation widget
There are several online widgets that you can use to allow visitors to translate pages on your network to their selected language. Check out Google’s Web Translator Widget here. Just insert the URL of your network and select a desired language or opt to allow members to use all languages. Once you complete the form, grab the embed code and embed the widget in Text Box on the Main Page.
If you are looking to fully translate your network to another language you can do so using the Language Editor.
