Ning Network Administrators can be helpful in maintaining and managing a network. They can be appointed by the Network Creator or another Administrator, and are given certain administrative privileges. Please note that any administrator can promote or demote other members and administrators on the network, so take care when selecting administrators.
Administrators can manage all member-related tools, can edit, approve or delete content, can adjust the appearance and most settings on the network and can also manage Flickr, Facebook and Twitter integrations.
The icons and links (from the Shortcuts dashboard and left-hand Toolbar) which are at the Network Creator’s discretion alone are as follows: Analytics/ Custom Code, Archive Content, Gifts (from the “Features” link in the dashboard), Update Information/ Network Details, Terms of Service, Search Bots, Google Webmaster, Sitemap, Domain Mapping, Ning Extensions, Mobile App, Ning API and My Account (for managing billing and subscriptions).
Certain icons and links are available only at certain plan levels, and are not available to all networks. Please refer to our Pricing Plans page for a comparison of which features are included with which of the three different plans.
Please also note that only the Network Creator may take the network offline, which is found by clicking on the “Privacy” link in the dashboard and clicking “Take offline” on that page.

Both Network Creators and Administrators at the Plus or Pro plan levels have the ability to write the Help Center via the Support link from the Toolbar in the left-hand column.
