If you’ve received a language file from another Network Creator or need to import one of your own exported language files, you can use the Language Editor to do the import. Just follow these steps:
- Sign in to your social network.
- Go to the Manage tab, then click the “Language Editor” link
- At the bottom of the page, under the “Advanced Import” option, click the “import your language file” link.
- Choose which language you are uploading (any of your custom translations will replace duplicate terms). If your language isn’t on the list, click “It’s easy to add a new one” to add it.
- Click “Browse” to select the file you downloaded earlier and click the “Upload Language File” button.
That’s it. Your exported language file should be loaded into your social network. To make sure that your translation is visible to the public, ensure that your social network’s “Active Language” is set to use your new translation. You can view your active language from the Language Editor main page—just head to the “Manage” tab and click “Language Editor.”
