As the Network Creator, you have a lot of control over the blogs that are displayed on your Ning Network’s main page. Go to your Main Page and click the “Edit” button in the upper right corner of the Blog Posts module. You will see several options for what you can display on the main page.
For how much of each blog post to display, select either “Detail View” or “Titles Only” from the Display drop-down menu. You can then decide where to pull these blog posts from. Your options are: “Recently Added,” “Most Popular,” “Most Comments,” “Featured” or “My Posts Only.” The “Show posts” drop-down menu accounts for how many blog posts you’d like to have appear on your Main Page. You can show anywhere from 0 to 10 posts. Last of all, you can use the Show HTML characters” drop-down menu to display anywhere from 250 to 2000 HTML characters’ worth of your members’ posts. Click “Save” when you are done.
If you do not want any Blog Posts to appear on your Main Page, simply select “0” from the third drop-down menu, and the Blog Posts module will be hidden altogether on the Main Page. While you will still be able to see the Blog Posts header and “Edit” button, your members will not see any of that. The Blog Posts will still be accessible as normal from the Blogs tab.

If you find a Blog Post or comment that is inappropriate, you or your Administrators can delete it. Just click on the title link to go to the Blog Post’s detail page and click the “Delete Post” link.
